WHAT TIME DOES THE RETREAT START AND END?

The retreat officially starts at 4:00 PM on March 19,2025 and ends at 11:00 AM on March 23,2025.

WHICH AIRPORT DO I FLY INTO?

You fly into Curaçao International Airport (CUR)

HOW DO I GET FROM AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL?

DHARMA will provide shared roundtrip airport transfers from Curaçao International Airport (CUR) to Avila Beach hotel, reservation is required for the shuttle, based on the flight time.

It will take approximately 20 minutes to get to Avila Beach Hotel.

WHAT ARE THE PASSPORT, VISA AND IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS?

It is your responsibility to check and comply with any travel, passport, visa, entry, health, vaccination, testing, and immigration requirements applicable to your booking.

Curaçao requires passports to be valid for at least 6 months from your scheduled return date.

IS THIS TRIP SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?

CAN THIS TRIP CATER TO SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS?

Absolutely. We work closely with our partners and suppliers and can accommodate most dietary requirements. We will email you a form to gather information about your dietary requirements three weeks before the trip start date.

WILL I GET ANY “FREE” TIME?

Absolutely! There is plenty of leisure time included for you to re-charge, nap, or do your own thing. We always schedule down time in our daily itinerary.

IF I DECIDE TO CANCEL MY SPOT, WILL I GET A REFUND?

The deposit is non-refundable and is used to secure your spot on the trip. If you decide to cancel your trip, we cannot refund your deposit. 

All subsequent payments are non-refundable once the payment due date has arrived. 

Remaining unpaid balance (if any) can be checked by following the payment link found in your Confirmation Email. It is a condition of your booking that you purchase adequate travel insurance to cover any fees you may incur if you have to cancel your trip. If Payments are not made on time in accordance with the General Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain all payments

You can opt to pay the full balance at any time by clicking on the payment link found in your Confirmation Email.

WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE?

When booking a trip with us, you have several payment options to choose from. The available options may vary depending on the specific trip you are booking. Here are the details for each payment method:

1. DHARMA Direct

DHARMA Direct allows you to pay the full amount of your trip at the time of booking. This may be the only available payment option for certain trips.

How It Works:

• The total cost of your trip is charged immediately upon booking
• Ensure you have sufficient funds or credit available to cover the entire amount

 

2. DHARMA YourWay

DHARMA YourWay allows you to make an initial low deposit to secure your booking. You can then easily chip away at your outstanding amount until the final balance due date (90 days before the trip start date).

How It Works:

• At the time of booking, you pay a deposit amount, which varies depending on the trip
• The remaining balance, referred to as the DHARMA Balance, must be paid by the specified due date provided during checkout
• You can pay off this remaining balance on dates you choose and and in any amount, right up until the specified due date when the remaining balance needs to be paid

Example:

• If your trip costs $2000, you might pay an initial deposit of $300 (280€ / £240) at booking
• The remaining $1700 (your DHARMA Balance) is due by July 3, 2024, so you make 3 payments towards your DHARMA Balance ($500, $500, $700) prior to your final balance due date
• You will be provided with a link to make payments towards your DHARMA Balance

3. DHARMA Payment Partner

DHARMA Payment Partner enables you to use third-party providers like Uplift in the US and Klarna** in select countries in Europe to pay for your trip. The terms and conditions for this payment method will be provided during the checkout process.

How It Works:

• Select the DHARMA Payment Partner option at checkout
• You will be redirected to complete your payment with the third-party provider
• If approved, review and agree to the third-party provider’s terms andconditions, which will be presented during the payment process

**Uplift terms and conditions: Down payment may be required. Actual terms are based on your credit score and other factors and may vary. APRs range from 0% to 36%. Minimum $150 purchase required. HOW DO I CHECK MY REMAINING BALANCE?

If you opted to pay via Uplift or Klarna, you would have received a separate email detailing your chosen payment plan. 

Paid directly with DHARMA? We’ll drop into your inbox to let you know before each payment is due. Remember – you can opt to pay your full balance at any time by clicking on the payment link found in your booking confirmation email.

WHAT IS THE TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY?

CANCELLATION BY US

In the unlikely event that WE have to cancel the trip for any reason then we will offer you the following options:

• A full refund of all monies paid, including your deposit
• Transfer of your booking, free of charge, to a future trip of the same value

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the trip for any reason, any flight tickets purchased by you will not be able to be refunded. It is for this reason that travel insurance is a mandatory condition of your booking. 

We may need to cancel the Trip whether before or after departure, and such cancellation shall be subject to the General Terms & Conditions. Furthermore, it sometimes occurs that a Trip does not meet the minimum number of guests and must therefore be canceled.  In order for this Trip to go ahead, we need to hit the <10 – minimum number> of guests. 

 

A final decision will be made on whether this Trip will go ahead no later than the Trip Confirmation Deadline <December 19, 2024>. By that date, should the minimum number of guests not have been reached, you will receive a cancellation email. 

 

CANCELLATION BY YOU

If you are unable to attend the trip for any reason, you will need to make a claim with your travel insurance provider to claim any trip costs.

Please ensure your travel Insurance provider covers you for the following:

• Flight cancelation
• Trip payments
• Medical restriction preventing you from traveling
• Local and destination restrictions preventing you from traveling

If you wish to cancel your booking after we have issued a Confirmation Email to you, you must inform us in writing as soon as possible and the effective date of such cancellation shall be the date on which we receive written notification from you. All Payments that you would have previously made shall not be refundable

IS TRAVEL INSURANCE INCLUDED?

We do not include travel insurance as everyone’s needs are different. However, having travel insurance in place for each person is a condition of your booking. If you haven’t purchased cover yet, you can do so here:

Please ensure your travel Insurance provider covers you for the following:

• Flight cancelation
• Trip payments
• Medical restriction preventing you from traveling
• Local and destination restrictions preventing you from traveling

CAN I COME TO THIS TRIP ALONE?

Yes! Traveling alone is a great way to meet new people, and many people will be coming solo. On this trip we’re all in it together and you’ll be part of the group from the moment you arrive.

I WANT TO SHARE A ROOM BUT I AM TRAVELING ALONE, DO YOU ASSIGN ME SOMEONE TO SHARE THE ROOM WITH ?

If you are traveling alone and would like to share a room, we use our best judgment to find a good match. We endeavor to accommodate any specific requests you may have. Please contact us with any requests so that we can assign you to an unaccompanied guest that also wants to travel in a double occupancy room.

HOW DO YOU ASSIGN THE ROOMS?

Rooms are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
